About Elizabeth
"I have been teaching piano for over 9 years, and I enjoy helping students reach their musical goals with confidence and enthusiasm. I hold an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. My lessons are personalized to match every student's experience, interests, and performance goals.
I have worked with students preparing to lead church worship, accompany community theater productions, and perform with professional wedding bands. Every student follows a different path, so I adjust my teaching to help them succeed in their chosen setting. One student who wanted to accompany a local theater production began with simple chord progressions and later performed confidently throughout the entire show.
I believe learning piano should be enjoyable, practical, and encouraging. My lessons focus on building strong technique while developing musical expression, rhythm, and confidence. I create a comfortable environment where students feel supported to ask questions and keep improving.
I enjoy working with beginners, returning learners, and experienced musicians who want to expand their skills. Every lesson celebrates progress, no matter how small. Watching students perform with confidence is the most rewarding part of my work. I would love to help you grow as a pianist and enjoy every step of your musical journey."

"My teaching approach helps students understand not only how to play classical music but also why each piece is written the way it is. I welcome beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students who want to deepen their musical knowledge. Every lesson is planned according to your goals, learning style, and experience.
We study classical repertoire analysis, musical forms, historical context, expressive interpretation, sight reading, music theory, phrasing, dynamics, articulation, and technical exercises. These subjects help students build both confidence and musical understanding. I explain each piece in simple language so students can connect with the music more naturally.
For example, before learning a sonata, we discuss the composer, the time period, and the story behind the music. This makes each performance more meaningful and expressive. Regular feedback helps students notice small details that create a beautiful performance.
I also enjoy supporting students who compose original music and those who use piano as a way to relax and express their emotions. My lessons encourage thoughtful practice, careful listening, and personal musical growth. Together, we will bring classical pieces to life with confidence, expression, and a deeper appreciation for their artistry."
