About Alice

Hi, I'm Alice and I'm twelve. I enjoy teaching little kids because I like giving people the same opportunities I have. I am an ARCT level player and I enjoy piano. I make kids feel confident about themselves by encouraging them.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Alice. I teach piano because I enjoy giving people opportunities like mine. Every lesson, I start with technique. Then, I move to repertoire, go through notes, and finish with some theory. I like to teach people with basics in piano (can read notes, knows the keys on the piano, knows proper hand shapes for piano). I'm for people looking to play piano as a career (exams) or leisurely as well. I also do "masterclasses" where it's just one class, but I get to know you, your playing, and teach you a piece of music you want to learn all in one class! I'm also bilingual (Mandarin and English) so I can teach in both languages. I'm a teenager, so I see things differently than most piano teachers. I understand not wanting to practice, and I know what people today want to do. I do zoom sessions ONLY since I share a house. My ideal preference are kids aged 5 and above. I charge $30 dollars an hour for just playing, and $60 for a one and a half hour lesson with theory. Or, I charge $70 for a 2 hour long "masterclass". These prices can be negotiated, and last minute classes can be booked or canceled. Anyway, you probably got bored reading all that. More details can be discussed. Happy learning!
