About Mercy
"Aspiring vocalists stepping into the pressure of the audition room often feel their chest tighten at the very first note. Having spent 13 years performing alongside the Royal Philharmonic and holding an MMus from the Royal College of Music and RAM, I translate the rigours of high level performance into manageable practice. I guide singers through the nuances of microphone technique, performance confidence, and diverse genre styling for pop, classical, and musical theatre.
My technical work centres on belting, breathing control, resonance, sight singing, and precise diction. You will find clarity and ease as we define your path towards that successful final audition."

"Singers often find that their best performances emerge only when they stop trying to control every single muscle in their throat. I admit that learning to trust your own natural instrument takes longer than most beginners expect.
During our 10 sessions, I apply the classical rigour from my joint degree to your specific repertoire goals. We will cover exam preparation using the specific skills I have refined over 13 years of professional work. My students receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to ensure your progress continues between our meetings. This focused approach provides the foundation you need to stand out during your next major performance or conservatory entrance exam."
