About Sarah

I have graduated with a Classical piano Bachelors at the Australian Institute of Music and a Masters in teaching degree at UNSW. I have tutored students preparing reportoire for HSC exams, and taught leisure and comprehensive grade students. I have experience teaching a variety of students and age groups, and am currently also working as a piano teacher at YM piano Studio and Fantasia Music school. I customise my lessons to each student and am flexible with the books and learning material if the student's have a preference. The first lesson will be a introduction and meeting between teacher and student and will include a segment of time for the student to play if they have any prior experience.

About the lesson

I can teach in English or Chinese (Mandarin). My lessons would be suitable for beginners of all ages, candidates looking to begin AMEB grades and general piano lovers that are willing to learn and develop their piano skills. My lessons come in 30 minute and 60 minute options and are customised to each individual student depending on their short term and long term goals in piano learning. I enjoy being able to spread the love of music, enhance creative/artistic potential, to help my students overcome challenges and see them develop confidence and skills that they can apply to other aspects of their life as well.
