About Kiran
I’m a civil engineering professional with 10 years’ experience using CAD in the construction and engineering industry. I started my career as an apprentice, so I understand what it feels like to learn technical software from the beginning and build confidence over time.
My background includes working on real construction drawings, markups, site layouts, highways and drainage-related projects. I enjoy teaching AutoCAD because it is a skill that can feel overwhelming at first, but becomes much easier once someone explains the basics clearly and practically.
I’m patient, approachable and focused on helping students understand not just which buttons to press, but why certain CAD workflows are used in real projects.
I remember what it was like to be new to the industry, feeling nervous to ask questions or unsure how to do something. Because of that, there is no such thing as a silly question in my lessons. Most questions students ask are things I have probably wondered about, struggled with or asked myself at some point.

My lessons are practical, relaxed and focused on helping you use AutoCAD with confidence. I teach through screen sharing, live examples and step-by-step exercises, rather than theory-heavy explanations.
I can help with AutoCAD 2D basics, drawing setup, layers, lineweights, scaling, dimensions, layouts, plotting to PDF, markups and simple construction-style drawings.
Lessons are usually 30, 60 or 90 minutes depending on what you need. They are suitable for beginners, students, apprentices, junior technicians or anyone who feels stuck using AutoCAD.
I have 10 years’ experience working with CAD in the construction and engineering industry, so my lessons are based on real drawing workflows and practical problem-solving. I can also show you useful shortcuts and troubleshooting techniques picked up through real project experience.
