About Hongxi

My own journey with music began when I was four years old, and over the years, the piano has shaped who I am—teaching me discipline, resilience, and joy. These are the same values I hope to pass on to every student I meet. As a teacher, I am both a mentor and a partner. I strive to truly understand each student’s unique strengths and challenges, creating a safe space where they feel encouraged to take risks and grow. My goal isn’t only to help you play beautifully, but also to help you gain confidence, perseverance, and a deeper love for music—skills that will benefit you far beyond the piano. For me, teaching is a way to share my passion and to walk alongside students as they discover their own voice, both musically and personally.
