About Niko
I direct animation. The works have won awards, played festivals, one ended up on a wall at MAXXI, Italy's national museum of 21st-century art in Rome.
Mostly I take what painters made and make it move. Their canvases become moving image. I've done music videos too, for Kip Winger, Crystal Gayle and some others.
I studied philosophy before any of it. It ruined me for easy answers. Now I can't look at a shot without asking why it works, or why it doesn't. The software is the easy part.

Anyone can show you which buttons to press. That part is easy now, and it keeps getting easier. What I teach is everything else.
I teach videography as an art: how to build a video around a strong idea and a point of view, so the image, the pacing, and the color all hold together as one piece.
Now that AI can generate footage for almost anyone, technical skill is cheap. What stays rare is taste and a consistent style, and that's what we work on.
We work across the full craft: editing and color in DaVinci Resolve, motion and animation in After Effects, compositing and tracking in Mocha, and Photoshop, alongside the latest AI video models like Kling and Seedance. Together they take a project from the first idea to a finished video that people want to watch and clients want to buy. Every lesson comes back to one question: how do you make something people love? Not how it was made.
We also cover the foundations most tutorials skip: the grammar of editing, shot sizes, composition, color theory. You learn them while working on real footage, not as dry theory.
Lessons are one-to-one and shaped around whatever you're working on or would like to work on. By the end you'll have a much sharper eye and something you're proud to show.
