Alessandro Di Costanzo is a South Florida-based drummer, percussionist, and music educator dedicated to helping students grow as confident, well-rounded musicians. As an active performer and teacher, Alessandro brings real-world experience from a wide range of musical settings, including concerts, private events, restaurants, clubs, Broadway productions, and educational ensembles.
His performance background includes appearances alongside accomplished artists such as Jelani Remy and participation in ensembles directed by Ashley Pezzotti at Florida International University. Alessandro also performed with STRYKE Percussion during its 2025 WGI World Championship season.
Recognized for his musicianship and dedication, Alessandro is a recipient of the Gold Coast Jazz Scholarship Award, an honor awarded to promising young jazz musicians for excellence in performance, commitment, and artistic achievement.
In addition to performing, Alessandro serves as Percussion Director at Mater Academy Charter Middle-High School, where he works closely with developing musicians of all skill levels. His teaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals, musicality, confidence, and a genuine love for music. Whether a student is preparing for auditions, joining a school band, learning drum set for the first time, or looking to advance their skills, Alessandro creates personalized lessons designed to help each student reach their goals.
