About Dr Hande
Dr Hande was honoured with the Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence (WATE) for a teaching style grounded in genuine care and a steady commitment to student progress. To receive this award, one must first be nominated, after which academics and students from across the entire university evaluate candidates through a multi-stage process.
Holding a PhD in Applied Screen Studies from the University of Warwick, an MA in Journalism and Documentary Practice from the University of Sussex, and Fellowships with Advance HE (AFHEA and FHEA), Dr Hande has spent over a decade supporting international students across UK, European, and Turkish universities to achieve strong results like Merits and Distinctions. Her expertise is well-suited for the social sciences, humanities, and arts rather than STEM subjects.
Whether you are trying to untangle a complex undergraduate essay, polish a postgraduate dissertation, or figure out your next steps as an early-career researcher, you can expect a calm and thoughtful working environment here.
