About Lindsay
I have been a classroom teacher for the last decade and would love to share my knowledge and expertise with students. With two Bachelor-level degrees and a concentration in humanities, I have certainly been tasked with my own share of academic writing. However I am also a published blogger, daily journaler, avid reader, and working on my own manuscript (to share with the world someday, maybe…). I am confident I have both the professional and personal experience to relate to young writers, and help them reach their full potential!

I have a passion for writing and storytelling; sharing and inspiring students to explore their creativity, expand their skill set, enhance their capacity, and build confidence is what I’m all about! Students from Grades 7-9 are my specialty. Lesson strategies include use of mentor texts and prompts to build confidence; individualized templates and guides to build on existing essay and narrative writing skills; lessons in proofreading and editing; and remedial review of mechanics and conventions.
