About Heather
As an educator with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education, I have obtained experience in teaching or tutoring every age: elementary, middle, and high school. In addition, I have also worked with adults, teaching English as a Second Language. I have also worked in special education settings for 3 years, and have experience teaching and tutoring students with disabilities. I teach writing, reading, and grammar.

My lessons follow the “I do, we do, you do” model, giving each student the opportunity to observe a concept first, before practicing the concept with guidance, and then trying it on their own. In addition, I seek to work with learning styles each student connects to.
