Having participated in various ensembles to include Colorado Springs Youth Symphony, St. Olaf Orchestra, and many smaller ensembles to include chamber orchestras and several string quartets, as well as having experience in improvisation, I am capable of assisting my students with many types of repertoire. I have taught students between the ages of 5-18, and am willing/able to teach any age or ability. I believe in a patient and accommodating approach to learning with emphasis on proper posture, technical improvement, and creativity (it is important for the student to be able to put their own ideas into action).
