About Maxine
"A student stands before me holding their violin, eyes scanning the fingerboard for the right position. I work with 150 students to refine tuning by ear and left hand agility.
It is quite common to struggle with shifting positions at first. We drill scales, arpeggios, and spiccato bowing until the mechanics feel like second nature. Addressing rhythm and timing prevents common mistakes early on.
My work involves guiding students toward classical repertoire mastery. Helping someone discover a clear, resonant tone is the most rewarding part of my week."
