About Dorothy
I have been thriving as a musician for almost 12 years which has served me well in cultivating an extensive knowledge in music and in the artistic industry. I've attained honorable accomplishments throughout my journey as a musician with achievements such as achieving a high raw study score of 46 in VCE/VET Music which is in the top 5% of the ranking percentile. I am also involved in a few bands as a singer/ bassist performing in various gigs including private functions, weddings, public events and bars/ restaurants. I am currently in University studying a Bachelor degree in Music (majoring in vocals, bass as a secondary instrument) to develop further as a professional and continue to share my abilities and knowledge to my students.

My methodology varies within each student as I seek to cater their specific needs and abilities. I am able to perform tasks such as;
- Instruct and Assist students in a variety of different genres and thoroughly go through each repertoire in depth.
- Able to accommodate for all levels of abilities (Beginner- Advanced)
- Educating and demonstrating the fundamentals of music theory.
- Assisting with performance preparations such as vocal/instrumental warm ups, vocal health and stagecraft.
- Providing constructive feedback and suggestions for each performances
I also have an extensive insight on vocal AMEB exams and also the VCE/VET Music Curriculum.
I aim to influence passion, confidence, motivation and carry out positivity, guidance and knowledge to each unique student for them to develop as an individual.
