Hi! I’m a Biology and Psychology student at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and I’m passionate about making biology clear, engaging, and approachable. I focus on making biology easy to understand rather than relying on memorization. I adapt my teaching to each student using clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, active questioning, and practice questions.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review, followed by teaching the new concept step-by-step. We then work through practice questions together and finish with a recap of key points and areas to review.
What sets me apart is my focus on building genuine understanding and confidence. As a Biology and Psychology student at UTM, I aim to make complex biological concepts approachable and encourage students to think through problems independently.
I tutor high school and undergraduate biology students, including those preparing for tests/exams or seeking help with topics such as genetics, cell biology, physiology, evolution, and molecular biology.
