About CRISAMAE
Good morning, everyone. My name is Crisa, and I’ll be your English teacher this year. Outside of this classroom, I am a [reader/writer/parent/hiker/baker]. Just like all of you, I have interests and stories that shape who I am every day. I want to teach English for a few main reasons. First, I believe in the power of stories. Stories connect us, they let us live a thousand different lives, and they help us understand ourselves and others better. Second, this class is about finding your voice. We live in a world where communication matters more than ever. Being able to read critically, think clearly, and write persuasively isn't just about passing tests; it's about being able to advocate for yourself, share your ideas clearly, and navigate the world successfully. My goal isn't just to teach you grammar rules—it’s to give you the tools to express exactly who you are, effectively and powerfully.
