About Alice
Hi! My name is Alice, and I’m a 20-year-old language student originally from Stockholm. I’m currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern and European Languages and Cultures at Trinity College Dublin, where I deepen my understanding of languages, communication, and cultural contexts.
I have a strong academic background in the humanities, having completed higher secondary school with a language specialization. This foundation, combined with my university studies, has given me a structured and thoughtful approach to learning and teaching languages.
I’m a confident, professional, and patient person who values clear communication and a supportive learning environment. I enjoy helping others grow in their language skills and always aim to create lessons that are both effective and encouraging!

I offer French lessons in a calm, supportive, and patient environment — more like studying with a friendly study buddy than a strict teacher. I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning, so my goal is to help you feel comfortable speaking French without pressure or embarrassment. Each lesson is adapted to your goals, pace, and learning style.
Techniques & teaching methodology
I focus on practical, real-life French using:
- Guided conversation and speaking practice
- Simple, clear explanations of grammar
- Vocabulary building through real examples
- Pronunciation and listening support
I’m very patient and take the time to explain things as many times as needed, always adjusting to what works best for you.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I’m flexible if you prefer shorter or longer sessions.
I am a B2 level speaker and can teach everyone from beginner to B1 level French. I’m known for being patient, encouraging, and clear in my explanations.
