About Jay
Along with a bachelor's of music education I am currently pursuing a master's degree in orchestral conducting. I have spent most of my life performing and practicing different types of music and instruments and it truly is the biggest part of my life. I hope to foster that same love of music into each student I get.

I believe that lessons should be taught with theory. So along with learning the instrument you will also learn the theory behind why certain things work the way they do and why certain instruments play certain parts. Along with this you will also learn basics of music theory in whichever area you want to focus (Classical, Jazz, etc.)
