About Jada

Hi! I'm Jada, your favorite dance coach! I'm a 28 year old Baltimore native. I've loved dance since the age of 4 but, didn't begin my training until high school. After high school, I lead and danced on my college dance team as well as dancing professionally in Delray Beach, FL for three years as a VolleyGirl for the US Tennis Open.

Throughout college and presently, I have instructed dance for youth and adults. During the Covid pandemic, I launched Baile Danse, a virtual adults only dance studio. I currently teach at multiple dance studios in Maryland.

Although dance is major part of my life, I had to occupy my down time and did so through education. I received my B.A. and M.A. in Criminal Justice and my Juris Doctorate focusing on criminal and civil litigation and children's welfare. I'm currently studying for the bar exam and plan to open my practice focusing on children's welfare and open a physical location of Baile Danse.

Dance is timeless but not unchanging. I love to inspire students to give their all by teaching traditional dance techniques with modern music that brings out a dancer's confidence, fun side, and capabilities.

-Lessons for intermediate and advanced dancers
- Strength and conditioning segment every class
- 1 minute Meditation
- Lesson Plans with flexibility

A typical class will start with a warm up including stretching core muscle groups and strength and conditioning training. A short one minute meditation will follow to transition from work out mode to creative mode. We will spend time learning and perfecting various techniques followed by a short piece of choreography to apply newly learned skills.

My teaching philosophy allows me to not only be your coach but, your biggest fan as well. I will always cheer and jump for joy when you land a new skill. I will keep you focused on days where you feel life won't allow you to decompress and finally, I'll be your second biggest motivator if you agree to be your first.
