About Alvinchan
I am Alvin Chan, a BAM Level 1 certified badminton coach with three years of coaching experience. I have guided more than 200 students, including children, teenagers, adult beginners, and improving players. I founded AC Badminton Academy because I enjoy helping people build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and discover the satisfaction of making consistent progress.
I am patient, encouraging, and committed to giving every student clear and practical guidance. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I adapt my coaching to each player’s ability, goals, and physical condition. My aim is to create a positive and professional training environment where students feel comfortable learning, correcting mistakes, challenging themselves, and enjoying badminton.

My badminton lessons are designed for children, teenagers, and adults of all skill levels, including complete beginners and improving players. I focus on correct technique, footwork, racket control, serving, court positioning, tactical awareness, and match confidence. Each lesson combines clear demonstrations, structured drills, practical exercises, and personalised feedback.
Private lessons are one hour long and provide focused coaching based on the student’s individual ability and goals. Small-group lessons are two hours long, allowing students to learn, practise, and improve through guided activities and game situations.
As a BAM Level 1 certified coach with three years of experience, I have taught more than 200 students. My aim is to create an encouraging training environment where every student can develop strong fundamentals, correct mistakes, build confidence, and enjoy consistent progress.
