About Gemma
Hi, I’m Gemma, a passionate and dedicated economics tutor. I graduated in 2025 from Pymble Ladies’ College, achieving a Band 6 in Economics, and I bring both strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching.
I enjoy helping students of all ages develop analytical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of economic concepts. My approach combines patience, clarity, and encouragement, ensuring learners feel supported while building independent thinking and problem-solving skills. Even with under a year of formal tutoring experience, I focus on helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence in economics.

In my lessons, students can expect a structured and supportive environment where understanding, application, and analysis of economic concepts are the focus. I tailor each session to the student’s level, covering Years 7–10 and HSC Advanced Economics, with emphasis on developing critical thinking and exam strategies.
Lessons are typically 1 hour for younger students and 90 minutes for HSC students, allowing time for discussion, problem-solving, and practice. With my Band 6 in Economics, I bring strong academic knowledge and guidance, helping students build confidence, improve performance, and excel in assessments.
