About Luke

I am a 20yo guy from Newcastle who has a deep passion for guitar. After being stuffed around by a guitar teacher who was only in it for the money, I went on the journey of learning and teaching myself guitar from the ground up. After about a decade of consistency, I want to share my knowledge with others and see an influx of guitarists within the 21st century. I teach all ages - young, old - it doesn’t matter. Anyone can play guitar and be great at it and I am prompt to leap onto an opportunity where I can prove that.

About the lesson

When I first began playing guitar, my teacher only taught me enough in order to keep me coming back for more lessons. I quit my lessons with him and taught myself. This forced me to understand everything about guitar from the ground up. I taught myself everything and know exactly where and how to start in order to accelerate a trajectory to greatness. I have spent tens of thousands of hours patiently trying to master certain techniques and understanding concepts. I want to share my passion for music and guitar with others. Lessons with me are suited to your pace. There is no rush, judgement, or pressure. The worst thing is when your mentor is getting frustrated at you for not intuitively being a pro.
