About Lawson
I am an experienced Guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. Over the 11 years, I have helped many learners begin their guitar journey and grow into confident and disciplined players.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and steady learning. I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable and not rushed. I explain each concept in a simple way and allow students enough time to practice and improve.
My lessons include guitar fundamentals, chords, scales, rhythm exercises, strumming and picking techniques, fingerstyle basics, and song performance. I also teach basic music theory so students understand how music works and how to apply it while playing.
Many of my students have performed at school and college events, cultural programmes, and small stage shows. Some students have developed the confidence to play guitar independently and continue learning on their own.
I create a friendly and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help students enjoy guitar learning and build strong musical skills for life.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding the student and applying Guitar skills to real-life music use. I believe learning becomes easier when students know how lessons work in real situations. I use real songs, practice examples, and learning case studies to explain Guitar concepts in a simple way.
Before starting lessons, I take time to understand the student’s background, strengths, and challenges. Communication is clear and supportive throughout the learning process. I explain techniques patiently and adjust lessons according to the student’s pace.
Integrity guides my teaching. I provide honest guidance and encourage correct practice habits. Guitar lessons focus on posture, finger technique, chord transitions, rhythm control, and tone quality. In addition to Guitar, I teach supporting subjects such as basic music theory, timing skills, ear development, and performance basics. My aim is steady progress and strong musical understanding.
