Hi there! I teach using the Suzuki method, with a personalized approach for:
Adult beginners/intermediate players Kids beginners/intermediate players

Lessons are available in person or online, depending on your needs and level.
For young beginners (5–8 years old) doing online lessons, it’s super helpful to have an adult nearby during the lesson to assist.
For students under 5 years old, I strongly recommend taking in-person lessons to ensure the best learning experience.
Online Lessons Info Lessons are held via Google Meet (Gmail required).
Before we schedule your free trial lesson, please let me know your time zone, so we can find a time that works for both of us
Don’t have an instrument yet? No worries! If you're unsure about what size violin to get or where to find one, just send me a message—I'm happy to help you sort it out.
If you already own a violin or have played before, please make sure you have it set up before our first lesson—including:
A properly installed bridge A shoulder rest (I recommend Everest or Kun, matching the size of your violin)

  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?

I developed a passion for music pretty early on—around the age of 10. I was fortunate to attend a middle and high school that emphasized music education, so I was immersed in it from a young age. That early exposure really shaped my appreciation and love for music, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I wouldn’t say I have one particular genre or artist I listen to on repeat—I’m pretty open when it comes to music. I enjoy exploring different styles and sounds, and I like keeping things fresh rather than sticking to just one favorite.
  • 3) Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

One of the most challenging and exciting courses I could teach would be something like music theory or ear training—topics that students often find intimidating at first. But I enjoy breaking things down in a simple, approachable way. I love showing students that even the most complex subjects can be understood if you take the right approach and stay patient. It’s really rewarding to see their confidence grow once it clicks.
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

I think every instrument comes with its own unique challenges, so it’s hard to say one is more complicated than another. What might feel natural to one person could be really difficult for someone else. It really depends on the player’s connection to the instrument, their technique, and how much time they put into it.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

For me, the keys to success are discipline and truly loving what you do. When you’re passionate about something, it’s easier to stay committed and put in the work—even when it gets tough. Discipline keeps you consistent, and passion keeps you motivated.
  • 6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

I’m not sure my favorite musicians would be the type to hang out in a bar—but if I could dream a little, I’d love to meet Johann Sebastian Bach, Shinichi Suzuki, and Shakira. Bach and Suzuki are musical legends whose work and philosophies have deeply influenced the way we understand and teach music. And Shakira? Well, maybe I’d actually have a chance of running into her at a bar—plus, she’s incredibly talented and has such a unique musical journey. I think it would make for a fascinating conversation!
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

One thing I’ve learned from my time in music school is the importance of having a strong solo repertoire—it really helps you grow as a musician. But honestly, the energy and connection you feel when playing in an orchestra is something else entirely. There’s a kind of magic that happens when everyone is working together toward the same musical goal. That shared experience is irreplaceable and one of the things I love most about being a musician.
  • 8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

I think what makes me a good music teacher is my patience, my respect for each student’s learning pace, and the genuine love I have for teaching. I really enjoy helping others grow through music, and I always try to create a supportive and positive environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to improve.
