Perfect! Maya was great! My 14 year old son wanted to learn bass and he has only the use of one hand. Maya treated him like any other rocker kid excited about learning to play. She showed him some techniques and tricks for him to practice until the next lesson and made him feel empowered and stoked to pursue his new passion. Maya has a great vibe and is very professional. We are excited to keep it going!!

Perfect! I (22) have had a lot of music teachers over the course of my life, and Maya is one of my favorites! Her teaching methods have been very effective for me when it comes to enabling me to play songs I like. However, I requested that we focus our sessions on theory. Maya is so knowledgable about music theory and has very engaging methods for teaching it. She's also just a really cool person, we have a good time during our lessons. I started with in person lessons, but I've been doing virtual ones since the school year has resumed and I live on the east coast. Anyways, Maya is amazing!
