I have had the pleasure to work with Billy for some months. He has helped my son so much to improve his abilities with the bass. Billy is very professional and knowledgeable. Billy really listened to what I was struggling with and came up with a practice routine with exercises that helped me improve fast. He doesn’t just teach you and leave you hanging—he’s super patient, explains things clearly, and makes you feel comfortable no matter where you’re at in your playing.
On top of all that, he’s just a genuinely good guy—warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. Every lesson feels productive but also fun, which keeps me excited to keep practicing. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend Billy enough!

About 10 years ago, I was a touring bass player. A day job, Covid, and “life“ happened. I found myself shall we say a little rusty. The last few months I have had a free night off every week. I decided I would do something to better myself and that some thing was taking bass lessons. Billy is an incredible teacher. He has been teaching me to stretch my fingers and how to play scales. As a punk rock bass player I never cared about theory. But now, Billy is helping me learn proper technique. If you are brand new to playing bass, or like a seasoned musician. Billy will help you get in fighting shape.
