About Amit
Hello! My name is Amit Chowdhury, and I’m a BBA graduate with a strong passion for teaching and helping young minds grow. I have been teaching students from Class 1 to 8, focusing on core subjects like English, Math, and Science. I believe that every child is unique, and with the right guidance, any student can achieve academic success and build confidence in their learning. I started teaching not just as a way to earn, but because I truly enjoy sharing knowledge and making concepts easy to understand. I use simple, student-friendly methods, real-life examples, and interactive sessions to keep students engaged and motivated. As a tutor, I am patient, responsible, and committed to each student’s progress. I maintain a calm, respectful environment where students feel safe to ask questions and express their doubts freely. I regularly take feedback, give performance updates to parents, and adjust my teaching style to suit the student’s needs. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person who is teaching their child, and I assure you that I will put in my best efforts to support your child’s education. My Teaching Approach & Knowledge Sharing Style: - As a home tutor, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through easy explanations, relatable examples, and regular practice. I believe that every student has the potential to learn—they just need the right guidance, environment, and support. My Teaching Techniques and Methods: I use simple, child-friendly language so students feel comfortable and confident. I focus on concept clarity first, then move on to application through examples. I regularly give oral revision, written practice, and doubt-clearing sessions. I follow a "Teach–Test–Revise" model to help students retain better. I make learning interesting with interactive sessions, real-life comparisons, and motivational talk when needed. Usual Structure of My Class: 5 minutes: Warm-up and recap of previous lesson 30–40 minutes: Detailed explanation of new topic 10–15 minutes: Practice problems and Q&A 5–10 minutes: Quick test or homework explanation Weekly Tests/Progress Reviews to track improvement My Special Features as a Teacher: I am a BBA graduate with strong communication skills I connect well with students emotionally and academically I am patient, punctual, and focused on results I treat every student according to their pace and level I build confidence and discipline along with academics Who Can Join My Classes: School children (Class 1 to 8)—especially those needing help in English, Math, EVS, and Science Students who want conceptual understanding and strong exam preparation Parents looking for a friendly, responsible, and regular home tutor
