About Madeleine
I've worked as a lead in various West End shows as well as across TV and film, and have trained extensively in my craft. When I have the time between acting jobs, I teach LAMDA and drama, always encouraging my students to play and have fun. My undergraduate degree was in Classics at Brasenose College, Oxford, where I acted in as many plays and short films as I could get my mitts on. I was a keen National Youth Theatre Member and went to New York to train at Stella Adler in Physical Theatre. I then went on to train on the MA Acting course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, before signing as an actor with United Agents and beginning my career playing Delphi in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I've taught drama, LAMDA and have been an acting coach for a number of years now. I'm also a yoga teacher in studios as well as being the resident yoga teacher at Associated Studios drama school, for the BA and MA courses. I'm a huge believer in the positive impacts yoga can have on an actor's wellbeing and creative practice - let me know if this is something you'd like to work on together!

I offer LAMDA exam prep, self tape sessions, drama school audition prep, scene study and general acting advice sessions. Using my years of experience as a drama teacher and professional actor I can help you unlock what makes you uniquely brilliant and act freely, truthfully and with confidence. We'll work closely 1-1 to help you overcome creative blocks, build acting skills and prepare you for the industry. My ethos tends to be 'take the work seriously, but don't take yourself too seriously'. I know auditions can be spooky things, but in my experience on the auditions panel at RCSSD, the people on the other side of the desk genuinely want you to be brilliant. They just want a simple, truthful performance with connection to the text and that's exactly what we'll work on together. Sessions are either 30mins or 60mins. Online or in person. All ages and experience levels welcome - no judgement here! I offer a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
