About Daynia
I am a Bcom Law and LLB graduate who has decided to follow my passion in education and working with young minds.
I have tutored and au paired for three different families with children ranging between the ages of 3-16 years old. My students have always returned with favorable results and an improved report cards. Most importantly, my students gained confidence, specifically with Afrikaans and English public speaking - an especially daunting task!
I have also attended studying and memorisation seminars with Michael Abrahamson, the world record holder of reciting the most digits of Pi. I have implemented these techniques into my own studies and seen a dramatic increase in my own marks, coupled with a decrease in study time.
I am also very friendly and patient, a virtue I learnt after working with toddlers for a few years. I truly love teaching and I can guarantee that I will also give my absolute best.

The ability to understand always trumps the ability to memorise! My explanations of the work will always focus on helping my students to understand their material, instead of trying to memorise the work in parrot fashion which is often stressful and leads to poor results.
I give my students easy and fun homework (such as listening to Afrikaans music to aid in pronunciation and vocabulary expansion) and I implement various study techniques that I have learnt from Michael Abrahamson and applied effectively over the years.
