About Karen
I have over 25 years experience. I am a self employed trainer and Beauty/Holistic Therapist. I work on a mobile and on sire basis and I own a Pamper Party Business. I have experience in all areas of the industry and absolutely love passing on my knowledge, the tricks of the trade and how to survive in an industry that people think is an easy job, but in reality, if you want to do well, it is a hard and tiring one, but also very rewarding with many avenues that you can follow. I am also a qualified yoga and meditation instructor which works side by side with the beauty and massage industry. In a nutshell, I love what I do, I am very flexible with times and days, and have years of knowledge in me that you cannot find in a college.

I am available to help support you in your lessons when you need extra help. In my experience of 25 years, most of the learning you gain is on the job and a lot of students go from college into spas or salons without the extra valuable on the job knowledge and leave the industry, unfortunately. I am here to provide that extra valuable experience and information to aid in a smooth transition from the course to work, as well as help with your coursework. I am a qualified and accredited trainer, so I can also provide accredited and insurable qualifications. I am also a Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and can provide online and on site sessions of relaxation for anxiety, stress, exam stress, and clearing the mind.
