About Mmamodise
My name is Mmamodise and I am a Bachelor Education student at Stadio Higher Education, specializing in the Intermediate Phase. Teaching is not just a career path for me- it is something I genuinely connect with. I have always had a natural ability to relate to young learners, meet them where they are, and make them feel comfortable enough to learn without pressure.
I attended Afrikaans schools throughout my education, which means I am not just fluent in Afrikaans- I think and communicate in it naturally. This makes especially effective when supporting learners whose home language is Afrikaans.
Outside of my studies, I have completed certifications in Sales and Marketing, Digital Entrepreneurship, Educational Technology, and Emotional Intelligence in the Classroom- all of which shape how I engage with and motivate my students.
I bring patience, warmth and genuine care to every session. I believe that when a child feels safe and understood, learning happens naturally. My goal is never just to get through the work, it is to make sure every learner actually understands and walks away feeling more confident than when we started.

My lessons are built solely around patience, encouragement and making sure every learner feels safe enough to ask questions without fear of judgment. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education at Stadio, specializing in the Intermediate Phase, which means I understand exactly what Grade 4 to 6 learners need both academically and emotionally.
I teach in Afrikaans and English, with Afrikaans being a particular strength having attended Afrikaans schools throughout my education. I offer tutoring in Afrikaans Home Language, English Additional Language, Mathematics, Natural Science and Technology, and Creative Arts.
My approach is calm, structured and learner-centered. I take time to understand where each child struggles and adapt my explanations until things click. Students can expect a relaxed but focused session where they feel heard and supported. I believe every child can succeed with the right guidance and enough patience- and patience being something I have plenty of.
Lessons are aimed at Intermediate Phase learners but I am open to discussing other grades depending on the subject.
