Maxi is the real deal. We first met 6 years ago through the creative arts festival community, and our mutual passions for movement and music led us to quickly develop a rock-solid friendship. In that time, I've had the honor of exploring loads of exciting projects and antics with Maxi. He took me on my first outdoor lead climbing adventure, has invited me to play at his music/lifestyle festival Vyoma in the Blue Mountains, and we've produced electronic music together (to name a few!).

As our connection deepened, it became fast apparent that Maxi was a real mover and shaker. He consistently demonstrates an unparalleled ability to connect and invigorate community, bringing an awesome balance of professionalism and playfulness to his many pursuits.

I don't know anyone who wears as many hats as graciously as Maxi. Father, brother, friend, teacher, businessman, curator, facilitator, producer; Maxi finds a way to do it all with a charming zest, charisma and humility. His strong presence never overshadows his sensitivity, and his calm, curious disposition makes him a delight to be around.

When it comes to music production Maxi is an absolute weapon. Learning from a world class lineage of producers (including Ill Gates of Producer Dojo fame), Maxi's disciplined work ethic and bright mind have seen him carve out space on the electronic music scene stage at a blistering rate.

Maxi's a great teacher. He has a knack for explaining even complex concepts in an engaging and easily digestible way. His workflow is efficient, and time spent learning from Maxi feels productive and inspiring.

Suffice to say I can't think of anyone I'd recommend more than Maxi, not just for teaching, but just a generally authentic and delightful human being.

Maxi has been a great inspiration and teacher to me on my music production journey. He is very knowledgeable about music, Ableton, and various virtual tools. In particular, his playfulness and experimentation in production is infectious - it really helped me move from feeling overwhelmed in Ableton to being able to approach it with a sense of play and now I'm discovering lots of cool little ways to make sounds that I like. He is also really interested in all the technicalities of mixing which I find tedious, but he helps make it more fun and interesting! Highly recommend him as a teacher.
