About Evan
I am an eighteen year old college student from Gorey, Co. Wexford who has been playing the ukulele for several years.
I am a self-taught player, though I am experienced and strongly believe I am at liberty to teach young adults and children the basics of this beautiful instrument.
In my free time, I volunteer to work with stray cats at the NWSPCA, as well as engage in several art forms such as drawing, painting, writing and (of course) playing the ukulele.

I believe that learning the ukulele serves a lot more of a purpose than just being able to play your favourite songs.
It has been proven that learning an instrument will boost your IQ, increase your focus and discipline, relieve stress and give a sense of accomplishment by learning something new.
The ukulele, being a great beginner instrument, will be able to promote these positive behaviours in children and young adults. It only has four strings, ultimately making it easier to pick up and learn.
In the several years that I have been learning this instrument I have experienced all of the results stated above from playing, which I would like to share with others who would also benefit from it.
For these lessons, you will need to supply your own ukulele as I only have one for myself. Thank you.
