You likely notice that your progress on the violin feels stalled by specific technical gaps. I draw on 6 years of teaching 395 students to help you master left-hand agility and spiccato or staccato bowing.
My experience allows me to pinpoint exactly when your shifting positions or vibrato need adjustment to improve your overall tone. Refining your scales and arpeggios builds the muscle memory required for more advanced repertoire. My instruction remains rooted in the fundamentals to ensure you develop a reliable technique that lasts a lifetime. Sometimes we spend extra time on a single measure to ensure the phrasing sits perfectly under your fingers. These 6 years of professional experience help me recognize when a student needs a different perspective to solve a persistent bowing issue. I make sure our time together remains focused on practical gains rather than abstract theory. Finding the joy in a well executed scale is often the best part of our work.
