About Aurelia
Hey! I'm Aurelia, and I'm a UC Berkeley Data Science and Linguistics student who's been tutoring since high school as a peer tutor, and as the lead of a summer creative writing program for elementary school students. Currently, I'm a college advising fellow at Matriculate for low-income high school students and help with college essay-writing specifically. I seriously love teaching and hope to help empower people to learn and be passionate about learning.

My specialty is in analytic/essay writing, creative writing, and taking a nuance-focused approach to teaching. As a tutor, I want you to feel empowered in writing so we'll assess you strengths and weaknesses and work specifically towards cultivating you into the writer you want to be. I'll use examples to build up your intuition for writing and help you become a stronger writing with a clearer vision.
Throughout tutoring sessions I'll take notes for you to refer to afterwards. I like making myself available to students to reach out to and am happy to asynchronously help with assignments outside of tutoring sessions. I'm most experienced helping students K-12, though I'm happy to help people across all age ranges.
