About Alejandro
I've taught a dozen students through the past four years, helping them reshape and rethink the way they see and play bass.
Many of them reach out with a strong interest in learning hybrid bass techniques, incorporating electronic elements into their setups and seeking orientation in how to manage these efficiently. Others look up to a more "academic" approach, choosing to focus on music reading and harmonic concepts.
As a modern bassist you will find that one of the qualities you will find in every professional bass player, is versatility. I work with my students to develop that aspect of their musicality and help them achieve their goals.

I'm a musician and sound designer with a B.M in Electronic Production & Design from Berklee College of Music. I've been playing bass for 11 years and teaching for 4.
As a bass player, I have a strong background in contemporary jazz concepts and modern bass techniques.
As a sound designer, I have the skills to reproduce and create virtually any sound.
I like to bring these two elements together into my teaching, helping my students to find fresh and modern approaches to music and translate their ideas efficiently into the instrument.
I work with my students constructing an schedule based on their fields of interest and adapting the material to their learning curve.
