About Josias

Josias Emeterio Yglesias is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Detroit, MI. Yglesias is versatile among pop, electronic, world, hip-hop, acoustic and R&B, and demonstrates his unique approaches through his band SIAS. Yglesias graduated Berklee College of Music under two scholarships for his songwriting, and has appeared on Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50, Spotify’s Fresh Finds, ABC'S The Bachelor and Spotify Billboard. Yglesias’ group SIAS recently performed at SXSW, Summerfest, EDC Mexico and has been featured on MTV and on an entire episode of PBS’ Backstage Pass (Season 9, Episode 4). Yglesias also provides mixing for Warner Brothers Music (WMG), and sound for other companies such as Purple Mattress, Japan Airlines, and more.

Josias has been teaching music lessons for over 5 years, in songwriting, production, engineering, mixing, mastering, guitar, business and much more. Yglesias is patient, flexible with time, and passionate with the work he does. About the lesson

Josias' teaching method consists of his unique approaches to songwriting, production, engineering and artist development. Yglesias will be using techniques that he has acquired through Berklee College of Music, and more importantly through his own experiences in the music industry.
