Hello! I am Haarish, a results-oriented data professional and passionate educator. My academic background includes a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Essex, where I was honoured as Best Student of the Year, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.
By transitioning from a robust software development background into data analytics, I bring practical, real-world industry experience directly into my tutoring sessions. I have worked professionally as a Full-Stack Developer, where I managed complex database structures, optimised data retrieval speeds, and ensured the accuracy of backend data flows for web and mobile applications.

My Approach & Teaching Methodology
My teaching philosophy is rooted in practical, project-based learning. Coming from a background in software development and data analytics, I believe that programming and mathematics are best learnt by doing. Instead of just memorising syntax, we will build real-world projects together—like web applications, predictive models, or interactive data dashboards—so you can see exactly how theory applies in the industry
I specialise in breaking down complex topics, such as database optimisation, algorithms, and data structures, into highly digestible steps. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lesson plans to your specific learning pace, focusing heavily on problem-solving and logic building.
Typical Lesson Length
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which provides a perfect balance of conceptual theory and hands-on coding practice. I also offer extended 90-minute sessions upon request for deep dives into advanced topics, complex project debugging, or intensive exam preparation.
My Qualifications & Experience
I hold an MSc in Data Science and its Applications, where I was awarded Best Student of the Year. Prior to this, I earned my B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering
Professionally, I have worked as a Full-Stack Developer and Data Analyst, giving me firsthand experience in managing databases, engineering automated ETL processes, and developing intuitive user interfaces. I am highly proficient in Python, SQL, React, machine learning (like XGBoost), and front-end web development. This unique blend of top-tier academic rigour and hands-on industry experience allows me to provide exceptionally high-quality tutoring.
