About Robert
I keep my approach friendly and encouraging because I am just a working musician who prefers the backstage vibe to a formal lecture hall. My BFA degree informs how I teach vibrato control, head and chest voice, pitch control, microphone technique, warm-up exercises, breathing control, tone, resonance, sight singing, and performance confidence. I work with adults and teens who want to play the music they actually listen to. We will get you to where you want to be with your vocal range.

Vocal progress is often more about relaxing into the right habits than it is about forcing your voice to do something uncomfortable. It might seem strange, but I start by focusing on the songs you enjoy to teach you the technical foundations of breathing and resonance. I rely on my 13 years of experience to make sure you have homework vocal drills assigned after every session to build your strength. Getting your voice ready for the stage is the ultimate goal here.
