About Jenesis
Piano keys have been my primary language since I began my BFA in Musical Theater years ago. I spent 13 years performing across NYC stages and on major tours before transitioning into full-time pedagogy. My approach is defined by the necessity of solid technique which I gained through rigorous conservatory training.
I find that the piano is the ultimate tool for musical storytelling. I translate my performance background into clear instructions for my 294 students. Having lived in the professional theater world for two decades, I understand the technical demands of a score. I aim to see you develop your own artistic voice while mastering the instrument.

Sitting at the piano bench feels like entering a creative sanctuary where music happens. Every lesson is an exploration of sound.
We navigate the nuances of posture and hand position while exploring complex chord voicing. My BFA training allows me to break down difficult memorization techniques into manageable segments for students of all ages.
We balance scales and arpeggios with essential ear training to build a comprehensive musical foundation. Whether we are preparing for ABRSM or Trinity grade exams, I prioritize dynamics and expression in every piece. I want you to feel confident in your ability to navigate the keyboard with artistic intention.
