About Aditi
Namaste! I am Aditi Devadiga, and I warmly welcome students of all ages to learn the majestic art of Bharatnatyam. As a devoted dancer with 5 years of training in the Kalakshetra style, I provide a patient and encouraging environment perfect for absolute beginners to find their rhythm and grace.

My teaching methodology is structured and student-centric, focusing on three key areas:
Absolute Beginners: We start with the fundamentals—correct posture (sthanam), footwork (tala), and essential hand gestures. We focus on achieving clean lines and strong Angashuddhi (body clarity) before moving on to complex steps.
Gandharva Exam Preparation: I offer dedicated coaching for students aspiring to take the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (ABGMVM) examinations. This includes preparation for the practical adavus (steps) and the required theoretical knowledge.
Performance Readiness: For students who wish to showcase their talent, I guide them through learning various Margam (repertoire) pieces, focusing on Abhinaya (expression) and stage presence. We also cover basics of stage etiquette and costuming.
