About Calvin

Hi, I’m Calvin, a passionate and persistent college student who loves learning and teaching languages, especially French. I’ve been studying French actively, and I understand the challenges that come with mastering a new language. My personal experience allows me to relate to students and help them overcome those hurdles step by step. In addition to my language journey, I’m dedicated to sharing what I’ve learned in a way that’s engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve, I’ll guide you with patience and enthusiasm, helping you build confidence as we learn together. Let’s make French fun and accessible as we work toward fluency together!

About the lesson

Students should take French lessons from me because I bring a unique perspective as someone who is actively learning the language. This means I understand the challenges and frustrations that come with learning French, and I can share the tips and techniques that have worked for me.

My persistence and enthusiasm make me a patient and supportive tutor. I’m committed to helping students build their confidence and skills step by step, whether it’s mastering pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, or understanding grammar.

Because I’m still learning, I connect with students on their level and create a judgment-free environment where we can grow together. With my approach, students not only learn French but also develop the resilience and curiosity to enjoy the process.

A talented, patient Math tutor ready to help your child succeed

I strongly recommend my son, Calvin, to tutor mathematics to middle and high school students. He is currently a college student studying pre-calculus and calculus; thus, he is very confident in his subject area and takes great interest in teaching others for the betterment of their academics. He teaches with patience, taking depth to detail in his commitment to student understanding.

He is skilled at breaking complex problems into smaller and simpler steps and works at every student’s pace. Warm, friendly, and encouraging, he makes students who feel overwhelmed by math find comfort. Whether your child needs extra help with algebra, pre-calculus, or calculus, Calvin will go out of his way to make sure they not only improve but also feel confident about their skills.

I have had the pleasure of experiencing his dedication and kindness firsthand, and I strongly feel that your child will benefit from his tutoring.
