About Sara

I’m a 19-year-old native Spanish speaker with a strong foundation in education and language learning. I hold an associate degree in education and am currently pursuing a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders along with a minor in Medical Spanish. With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students of all ages and learning styles, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My background in both teaching and language studies allows me to explain concepts clearly and patiently, whether you're just starting Spanish or looking to deepen your skills for school, travel, or personal growth. I bring a calm, encouraging presence to every lesson and always strive to create a space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve. Professional, reliable, and passionate about helping others learn, I’m here to support you or your child every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I take a personalized and flexible approach that adapts to the unique needs of each student. I believe every learner is different, so instead of using a one-size-fits-all method, I observe where the student currently stands in their learning and build from there. I work closely with both the student and their parents to set realistic goals and track progress together.

My lessons are structured yet adaptable—typically beginning with a quick review of past material, followed by focused instruction using interactive exercises, real-life examples, and games or stories to keep things engaging. I always aim to strike a balance between fun and productivity, helping students feel confident and supported while still being challenged.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students of all ages and make learning feel less intimidating. With over a decade of tutoring experience and a strong background in education and Spanish, I bring patience, cultural understanding, and creativity into every session.

My lessons are ideal for elementary to high school students, heritage speakers looking to improve grammar or fluency, and those in beginner to intermediate Spanish courses. Whether the goal is improving grades, boosting confidence, or simply speaking more comfortably, I tailor each lesson to meet those specific needs.
