About Sam
I am a motivated and friendly language tutor from Birmingham with a strong passion for Spanish and helping others learn in a practical, engaging way. I enjoy breaking down complex grammar into simple, easy-to-understand ideas and making lessons feel natural and conversational rather than overly academic.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing students gain confidence and start using Spanish in real conversations. For me, language learning is about connection, not just rules, and I find it rewarding to help people reach their goals, whether that’s travel, exams, or personal interest.

My Spanish lessons are structured to balance communication, grammar, and real-life usage. Each session usually starts with a short warm-up conversation in Spanish to activate speaking skills and build confidence. We then move into a focused topic or grammar point, explained clearly with examples and quick practice exercises. After that, I guide students through speaking practice where they use the new language in sentences, questions, or role-play scenarios. I also include listening and pronunciation work to improve fluency. Finally, we finish with a short review and correction section where I highlight mistakes, explain improvements, and set small goals or homework for the next lesson.
