About Jose

I decided to start tutoring because I know how valuable it is to feel confident in another language. Having lived abroad, I’ve seen how much easier it is to connect with people, study, and travel when you can express yourself in more than one language. Spanish, in particular, is such a global language, and I love helping others unlock those opportunities. I enjoy tutoring because it’s rewarding to see students go from being unsure and hesitant to speaking with confidence. My aim is to make Spanish feel approachable, useful, and even fun, while still giving you the structure you need to make real progress.

About the lesson

My name is Jose, I’m originally from Spain and I’m currently studying International Relations at Queen Mary University of London. Because I grew up in Spain and speak both Spanish and English perfectly, I know exactly how to guide learners at different levels, from beginners who need clear explanations in English to more advanced students who want full Spanish immersion. I’ve also lived in Germany, the UK, and Spain, so I understand the challenges of learning and adapting to new languages and cultures. That’s why I make my lessons practical and supportive, focused not just on grammar, but on real communication and confidence. With me, you can: Improve your pronunciation and sound more natural. Practise conversation that feels real and useful. Prepare for exams, interviews, or academic writing. Or simply build up your Spanish step by step for travel, work, or personal growth. My approach is patient, adaptable, and tailored to each student. If you’re nervous about speaking, don’t worry, I'll create a comfortable environment where mistakes are just part of the learning process.
