About Taiyo
My name is Taiyo Moriguchi, I am a Japanese-Belgian born in Belgium and raised in Australia. I am currently a second-year university student at the University of New South Wales studying Computer Science.
I enjoying sharing my knowledge of Japanese in a fun and engaging way that will make you love the language just as much as I do!
I have taught Japanese in high school, co-taught a Japanese Workshop for the Japanese Society and my university and recently have also started teaching online.

I have taught Japanese for over 5 years, with content ranging from early beginner (basic kana) up to JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N3 content. I have also taught the fun sides of the Japanese language such as dialcets, onomatopoeia, and manga-specific words. I am happy to teach anything you want to your choosing.
Lessons are personalised to the student, and can be about any content they prefer; speaking, listening, etc. I am happy to teach anyone from the beginner level up to the early advanced level (~ JLPT N3, university level).
I am for these lessons to be different from a general class setting and more of a fun personalised one-to-one experience where I am to teach you what they cannot express in textbooks and videos.
Lessons will be conducted via Zoom.
Lessons can range from 1 - 2 hours:
