About Semmin
As a dedicated GCSE and A-Level tutor, I combine strong subject knowledge with a clear, patient teaching style to help students build confidence and achieve genuine progress. I focus on building strong understanding rather than memorisation. In both Maths and Science, I break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, using real examples to show how concepts connect. I encourage students to think out loud, ask questions, and actively engage with the material so we can identify gaps and strengthen their confidence. My teaching style is structured but flexible—I adapt each session to the student’s learning pace, preferred style, and goals. I use targeted practice questions, exam-style problems, and regular progress checks to ensure students develop both skills and exam technique.
