About Dr Isha
Talking about Tutor as a profession, this is going to be my first experience of online teaching. During my tenure of 6 years as a Research Fellow at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, I worked hard to impart all the theoretical as well as the practical knowledge I had gained in the field of Biological Sciences to my colleagues and other graduate or postgraduate students of the department. As a part of curriculum, seminars, competitions or during journal clubs, innumerable times my teaching skills and presentations were appreciated by the attending students and the faculties, that motivated me today to persue teaching as a job.

I recently completed PhD in Life Sciences where utilizing recent molecular biology techniques and recombinant DNA technology, I worked for the better understanding of cancer biology in humans.
I am comfortable teaching students from XI-XII class to doctorate and professional level.
For a particular concept, I prefer referring to both the books and the recent research publication database for the content to present while teaching. I emphasise more on diagrammatic representations and animated videos over written theory as a teaching material in PowerPoint presentations for the better understanding of the concept.
It's always a pleasure teaching curious students who are genuinely interested and are excited to learn new concepts. I tend to learn a lot in return from such students, motivating me to put more effort, improving my own skills and knowledge.
