About Tanisha

I have over 10 years of experience tutoring Biology and hold a BSc in Ecology and Conservation. I love working with middle school students, introducing them to the basic ideas of plant and animal life. My lessons often include nature observations and simple experiments like seed germination to make learning hands-on and exciting. Seeing a seed sprout or watching insects in the garden helps students connect with science in a real way. I enjoy working with learners who love hands-on projects, like DIY formulators and chemists-in-training. I support them in understanding complex ideas by breaking them down and encouraging experimentation. This helps students develop their own approach to mastering cutting-edge biological advancements.

Together, we explore how science is used to solve real problems—from designing new medicines to understanding the immune system. My goal is to make biology exciting, relevant, and accessible, so students feel confident and inspired. By focusing on practical examples and clear explanations, I help students excel and prepare for future discoveries.
