About Shenge

I am a Biologist by qualification and a Teacher by profession. I have a second class upper degree in B Sc. Biology. I've had 5 years teaching students, of different levels and different schools, Biology, Basic Science, and Christian Religious Knowledge. I've also had experience as a private tutor tutoring students in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

About the lesson

I am a fairly experienced teacher and I base my teaching method on making sure my students understand aptly every aspect of a topic I'm teaching. I make use of demonstrations, descriptions, and I take time to define terms and also to explain new, strange, or confusing words contained in specific definitions. I teach mainly Biology and Basic Science and these subjects tend to have a practical side. Teaching in a school with a well-equipped laboratory makes this easier; without adequate laboratories (or absence), I make do with elaborate charts or diagrams that aid students grasp practical concepts better. I have a lot of experience with secondary level students, but I've also had experience giving tutorials to course mates or junior school mates during my time in the university.
